Schools are seeking additional ways to cultivate a positive school climate and culture, address problematic behavior, and increase the social-emotional behavior competencies of students. Restorative Practices (RP) is a whole-school practice that emphasizes prevention and positive responses to challenging behavior that can be used across all settings and with all stakeholders.
Day 1 of a 2-day series. Participants will be able to: * Define key features of common Restorative Practices (RP) strategies * Identify strategies to integrate a continuum of Restorative Practices (RP) within a PBIS framework * Integrate selected Restorative Practices into discipline flow charts * Use provided implementation fidelity checks of selected RP practices * Identify implementation strategies that will facilitate an effective roll-out of restorative practices within schools.
