On October 15, SESC hosted the October MSD Cadre in London — and our MSD teachers were on fire! 🔥
They engaged in roundtable discussions about prompting and its connection to instruction, sorted prompting examples using the prompting hierarchy, and explored the difference between prompting and scaffolding — discovering how both boost student learning.
Teachers also received a 🎁 FREE 1-year Lesson Pix subscription 🎁 to create instructional materials and visual supports!
The afternoon was spent with Kristy Stuber and Annie Conner, breaking down barriers for students with significant cognitive disabilities by practicing UFLI Steps. 💪 Together, they modeled scaffolding and prompting strategies for Steps 1 & 2 of UFLI, and every participant took home a bag full of materials to support their students right away! 🧠💼
