Schools have so much data that you can often wonder where to start. During this session, your team will analyze and discuss multiple forms of non-academic data. We will also discuss other forms of data that can be used to make effective decisions. Through analysis of your data, your team will begin developing a list of students and their needs related to mental health (including student behaviors and social-emotional learning ) and leave with strategies and practical practices to implement when you return to school. It is preferred that districts bring a data team to review your data from different perspectives. This session will assist participants in determining what data is most useful and effective in making decisions and will help in building a new understanding of the importance of this data. Participants will begin to see the needs of our students (specifically in mental health) and will leave the session with a plan for addressing the mental health and behavioral needs with strategies and practical practices.
