Whitley Central Intermediate School recently hosted its first Cardinal Cafe, and it was a great success!
Under the Cardinal Café program, homeroom teachers select up to five students each week who have demonstrated positive choices and exemplary behavior. Student names are collected by the library every Friday and organized by grade level for the following week’s event.
The 6th-grade students kicked off the program in style. The library was filled with smiles and laughter as students enjoyed sweet treats, hot chocolate, games, and music. It was wonderful to see them unwind, connect, and make special memories together.
Cardinal Cafe will continue weekly, rotating through each grade level.
